Leapfrog is supporting coders in Cameroon at ActivSpaces TechHub

Started in January 2018, the collaboration aims to support young developers and entrepreneurs in Buea in Cameroon in better accessing the national and regional job markets by providing training and guidance on IT industry standards.

Drawn from Silicon Valley, Buea is also called Silicon Moutain because of its lively technology communities who contribute considerable innovative power in the town. ActivSpaces, the local partner of Leapfrog in this project, is one of Cameroon’s leading tech innovation and incubation hubs for the science and technology community in Cameroon. 

With support from Stiftung Nord-Süd-Brücken, the 14-month project will provide

• Intensive classroom training sessions with Leapfrog trainers
  
• Multiplicator training session with online support from Leapfrog
  

• 2 Hackathons
